With this as our inspiration, we, at Thangapara Horizons Library, have strived inch-by-inch since 2004 in our endeavour to provide quality education to meritorious and bright minds from economically challenged families.
And what better way to provide them with a well-equipped library of educational books and supplements!! For what a sword is to a soldier, a book is to a student.
In a third world country like ours where toiling through day and night hardly feeds a family especially in rural clusters, quality education at little to no cost is but only a dream.
We, at THL, have taken upon ourselves to transform this dream into a reality. With the candid support of a team of like-minded individuals across diverse backgrounds, we have come a long way to give this dream a shape.
Come, join us, for a little help from you can steer the life course of a young mind. Together, we can and we will build a healthy, educated and self-sufficient nation.
The organization targets to spread its motto to other countries where children suffer from dearth of education and employment. It is in discussion with eminent professors and education personals to develop an effective programme which we hope to launch soon. Thangapara Horizon Library is financially supported by everyone who wishes their money to be spent for a noble cause. Till now it has gathered funds from common people and social organization for its development and proliferation. There are direct as well as indirect way to serve the poor through our organization. One may donate money by drawing account payee cheques in favour of Thangapara Horizon Library or through demand draft in favour of ‘Thangapara Horizon Library’payable in Calcutta. With a good mission and lofty expectations we are moving forward. It is all your help that will give us the strength of solidarity to propel us to that elixir where this dream come true.
Thangapara Horizon Library is managed and advised by everybody who wishes to work for a cause. Its development and working is sincerely monitored and implementation of the programmes are carried out selflessly. Enthusiasm to the organization comes from the good results that comes in return of its endeavour. It feels rewarded only when statistics figures of illiteracy and unemployment shows a meager count. Smiles of a poor child is the only dream for which New horizon has lend its hands out. We are a group of engineers, software professionals, teachers, govt service holders and businessmen. People from diverse fields have realized the importance of the need of education and hence joined or contributed Thangapara Horizon Library.
